Our jewelry is PVD-plated with 18k gold only, which is 75% pure gold. The higher the quality and gold content, the more 'yellow' the piece will appear. We only use 18k gold, both to to preserve our standard of quality and keep our pieces hypoallergenic. This is compared to lower quality 10k gold, which only contains 41.7% pure gold by comparison, and will thus appear more dull and brassier in color. Hope this helps!
